First off, my personal thanks go out to darthoz, without his consent, I wouldn't have started this thread.

Hello all, my name is Ethan and I work for an indie games developer, Mechanist Games. We are now working on our debut game, City of Steam.

If you've known of City of Steam and been keeping an eye on it since the game went public, be sure to sign up for our newsletter and keep an eye on our dev journals for up-to-date game development.

To those that don't know what City of Steam is (no surprise, we're an indie developer, so getting widespread recognition is relatively harder for us). It's a browser-based MMORPG featuring a mix of industrial fantasy and steampunk elements, lightweight enough to play smoothly on even non-gaming computers and accessible straight from your browser. Even then, thanks to Unity 3D and a lot of in-house tools, we've managed to still make it look quite impressive, and all stored in but a few megabytes. Here is a quick look at the world City of Steam is based on:

Edit:

Hey guys, City of Steam is now open and ready to play! All of you can join the game just by registering. Go here and start your journey into Nexus right now!

Thanks to your continuous support of our game, City of Steam has finally been approved on Valve's Greenlight approval system. We are thankful for everyone who voted for us and who spread the word! If you want to know more, you can find the full announcement here: http://cos.r2games.c...s/view/?id=1731

As one of the developers, I'd be more than happy to discuss any comment or questions you may have about this game. Feel free to drop me a line or post a reply here, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible, actually, I do want to hear what you guys think.

Hello everyone, just try to remind you that we’ll start Summercrest (CBT2) very soon! If interested, make sure to sign up for our newsletters on the website for Beta key priority; also, keep an eye on our partners, they might still have some loaded keys left. For those who received a key already, keep it safe and start a new round of adventure in just hours!

Can I get a key by any chance? I like to test beta games and give feedback to support the developers.

Sorry for the late response, as for a Beta key, sure, no problem, I'll be right on it! Looking forward to meeting you this Friday!
